Shut down Work
At 18:20 JST, Kisetsu arrived onsite and confirmed the status with users.
Did the preparation before shutdown like checking LEDs of hardware, and no issues seen.
Confirmed the operation on 3rd floor was already finished, confirmed OK to shut down.
Went to 3rd floor and shut down the copier (CPR_JPDC_C5035) and the network switch in the mini-rack. Activated the door security of 3rd floor as no one would enter on the day anymore.
Around 18:40, the operation on 4th floor also has been finished. With the permission of SCM Hasegawa-san, Kisetsu started shutting down all the devices following the procedures.
At entrance, powered off King-of-Time recording device.
At Chiken-room (=server room), all the servers (tkowhdp1-p1) and the network devices including UPS were shutdown manually.
At user area, shut down the copier and made sure all the PCs, monitors and label printers were powered off.
At 19:00, activated the door security of 4th floor and left the site.
SUNDAY 20230319
Start-up Work
At 13:30 JST, Kisetsu arrived onsite.
Turned on the UPS first. After a while, continued powering on the other network equipment and servers.
Checked LED status and if there was any abnormal noise, no issues confirmed. All the power seemed back ON fine.
Around 14:30, confirmed both wired & wireless LAN connection were working fine (internet & file server access), desk phones resumed fine, too.
Talked with AUS IT Gareth via Webex chat and confirmed that there was no Wi-Fi connection issue seen on both local & network side, which would be expected to happen after start-up work.
Went to 3rd floor and turned on the network switch and other stuff at user area. No obvious issues were seen.
On 4th floor, turned on all of the printers, copiers and some PCs to check the status. Confirmed it ended up all fine. King-of-Time recorder also started up and seemed working fine.
Around 15:20, sent a recovery notification to warehouse users and AUS IT.
At 15:30, activated the door security and left the site.
