Today I programmed a script to extract the markdown from the PROdb database Documents tab, so that it is easy to use that elsewhere if needed. We had a backup of this anyway, but, it was embedded within a big json file. This is separate markdown files, one per each document, so it is easier to work with, and more "future proof".

Also, I'm committing it to git, so I can see the change history as well, in github.

The client database allows saving long-form text in a field as a "document" in standard textual markdown format, but these saved documents are available only in the database, as a data field. It is best if they are extracted from the database regularly, to make them "future proof" and accessible as actual text files, and allow them to be placed into source code version control.

クライアントデータベースでは、フィールドにある冗長な形式テキストを「ドキュメント」として標準のテキストマークダウン形式で保存できます。しかし、保存されたドキュメントはデータフィールドとして、データベースのみで使用可能です。データベースから定期的に抽出し、実際のテキストファイルとして、将来においても有効で且つ利用できるようにし、ドキュメントをソースコードのバージョン管理で保管できるようにするのが一番望ましいです。
